1. Native: Bill Capture and the AP Automation Module
NetSuite Bill Capture is Oracle's own OCR tool for vendor bills. It uses Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Document Understanding to read a vendor invoice, either emailed to a dedicated address or uploaded directly, and populate a draft bill record with vendor, PO number, line items, and pricing. A split-screen view lets AP staff check the extracted data against the original document before posting.
Bill Capture can be purchased as a standalone module or bundled into NetSuite AP Automation. The second path is a certified SuiteApp that layers on top of native NetSuite rather than replacing it.
